As artists who work with lead, we encourage
ourselves and our students to take lead safety very seriously. The best
tip is to avoid lead contamination.
We don't sell EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid) but we are intrigued by the claims that it can remove lead and other metals from the body. A guy I met told me that you can take a "pinch" of EDTA in orange juice and it will allow your body to get rid of lead. We're passing this information along, not as medical advice, but as interesting information. A search on the internet will show that the FDA has approved of intravenous treatment using EDTA as a treatment for lead and heavy metal poisoning. |
